Who we are
The Network of Renewable Energy Professionals of Senegal brings together the players in the sector around a shared ambition: quality, organisation and recognition.

The purpose of the association
REPER-SÉNÉGAL aims to:
Promote renewable energy.
Help organise the players in Senegal's renewable energy sector.
Embed a quality-driven approach so works are carried out to standard.
Contribute to the emergence of a regulatory framework.
Take part in popularising renewable energy products and services among the most vulnerable populations.
Facilitate the mapping of stakeholders by specialty, towards a national database.
Character
A non-political, secular, non-profit association with legal personality.
Founded
Established in Dakar on 30 November 2019, for an indefinite duration.
Headquarters
Villa 44, SIPRES 1 – Sud Foire, BP 10400 Dakar (Sénégal).
Governance
Three complementary bodies
The network's democratic functioning rests on a clear division of roles.
The General Assembly
Brings together all members and meets at least once a year. It is the sovereign body that elects the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee
13 members elected by the General Assembly for 2 years (renewable once). A body for reflection, coordination, oversight and discipline.
The Board
Handles day-to-day management. Composed of the President, Vice-President, Secretary General and deputy, Treasurer and deputy. Roles are unpaid.
